Trigger Backcountry Adventures mission is to provide courses for those seeking standard Avalanche Safety Training in either non mechanized and mechanized travel. The mountains can be intimidating but learning about them shouldn’t be!
History
Trigger Backcountry Adventures LTD. was founded in 2023 by Wes Gregg. An Ontario native, Wes fell in love with skiing late despite having started at three years old. It wasn’t until Jean Luc-Brassard won the Olympics in Mogul skiing that his passion for skiing took off. After spending many years competing and then coaching for local freestyle skiing programs; Wes hung up his ‘Pro’ skier dreams to get a ‘real job’
Fast forward 20 years or so, Wes has decided to return to his passion after a successful short career in the Telecommunications Industry. An aspiring CSGA and ACMG ski guide, Wes is bringing his passion for teaching and skiing to the the Cariboo Mountains of beautiful British Columbia.
